A little update from the personal side of life here. I recently went to visit my ol’ pal from college, Jena. Yes. Same name. Very confusing. She’s out in Lancaster, Pa… First things first… If you go visit and say it wrong you’ll look like a big dummie. It’s pronounced Lank-uh-stir. Not Lan-cast-er. Being from Jersey I was promptly corrected the first week of my freshman year of college, and probably made fun of a little bit ;)
As if you haven’t already fast forwarded to the adorable photos of puppies.. A big inspiration to my visit was the new puppies now invading Jena’s life. The pups were only about a week old in these photos. SO CUTE!!
Leanne & Gautam celebrated with family and friends at their 3rd wedding! Yes these guys have quite a unique story- they were married exactly 2 months prior on 12.14.13 in Texas where they had an intimate traditional American ceremony and then a traditional Indian ceremony honoring Gautam’s heritage. So that brings us to wedding number 3! They kept the festivities going with a reception for their loved ones in NJ – lemme tell you these people really know how to party! They had fire, bollywood dancers, a photobooth and they even showed the film from their TX ceremony to share with everyone in attendance. Thank you so much Leanne and Gautam for inviting me to capture the gorgeous day!
Thanks to a few of the people who helped make their day possible:

For many people January marks the new year, resolutions, winter break, midterms… but for me January means PEACE OUT NJ!!! Beginning all the way back in 2013 I started an annual tradition of taking my vacation (wedding photographer don’t always vacation like normal people) to Phoenix, AZ. I like to share a little bit about my personal life with my readers from time to time since I tend to be photographing very personal aspects of their lives. My aunt, uncle & cousins (and second cousins!!!) live out there and it’s a great time to spend time with my family who I don’t see nearly enough and enjoy the warm AZ temps! Here are a few highlights from my adventures
Enjoying a night out with the cousin and soon to be cousin-in-law… but let’s just say Jessica :)
Someone was having a little fun with the camera ::cough cough MATT cough cough:: We went to The Shout House – a restaurant/bar with dueling pianos! You put in your request for what you’d like them to play and some how the just know how to play every song thrown at them?! I don’t quite understand how musicians just know this stuff. I’m going to pretend it’s just magic for now.
A little peek in to the lives of this adorable family. We went to Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ and captured this exciting age of the kids in this young families lives. Enjoy some of my favorites!
Congratulations Heather and Al!! This was an especially exciting wedding for me since the bride is a close friend of mine and my former roommate! Heather and Al met in High School while in the band program. He was a drummer and she played clarinet. After sharing 9 years of their lives together they said “I do” in front of their closest friends and family in the town the both grew up & fell in love in.
Enjoy a few favorites from their beautiful fall wedding!
A big thank you to Tatiana Rodriguez and Jon Tan for shooting on my behalf while I was busy playing bridesmaid!
