Rocco and Jenny met at her cousin Melissa’s wedding. They didn’t date for about 2 years and then did the long distance thing for a year before realizing they were on to something great… something REALLY great. Fast forward to June 8th 2013. Now Melissa stands beside Jenny as she starts this beautiful new chapter with Rocco.

As a wedding photographer my weekends are usually spent shooting or meeting with clients so I try to sneak in a weekend during a weekday from time to time. One of my dear friends, Donna, has had a farm share at Honey Brook Organic Farm in Hopewell, NJ for the past 15 years… before organic was cool. She asked if I’d like to come with her to pick up the week’s share… to which i exuberantly replied HECK YEAH! Gettin’ down in the dirt and picking food from the vine… totally up my alley. Looking back on these images reminds me of a perfect summer day with a wonderful friend.

When I met with Tim and Val about a month before their wedding to go over all the details we spoke about the logistics of the day… times, locations etc… I said to Val, we should also talk about what we are going to do in the event of rain. Val responded with complete certainty “It’s not going to rain on our wedding day” I laughed at how sure she was, but boy was she right! Not a single drop of rain and nothing but beautiful blue skies. It was a nice toasty June day, the perfect kick off to summer.

Congratulations to such a sweet and genuine couple as they continue their journey together. I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing couple then these two love birds.

Todd & Jane 5.25.13A Memorial Day Wedding

Congratulations to Todd and Jane who tied the knot this past weekend! Their wedding took place at home (when you see their home you’ll see why!) with their closest family and friends by their side. A little rain wasn’t going to get these love birds down… they were nothing but smiles all day long!

A harpist provided the beautiful soundtrack to the ceremony, what an amazing instrument. The bride and groom also released doves after their ceremony.

I think she likes him ;)

Anthony’s Grandmother wasn’t able to be there so they streamed the wedding so she could stil enjoy the event. Caitlin is blowing kisses long distance.

As many of you may know, I’m on the planning committee of an incredible organization called HomeSharing. HomeSharing prevents homelessness by matching “providers,” residents who need to share their homes or apartments in order to keep them, with “seekers,” individuals searching for affordable housing in their communities.

This years event will be held on Sunday, April 28th at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ under sunny skies. Check out the sign up page for more info:

I had the pleasure of attending a lecture with Kent Russell – The Garden Guru – hosted by Main Street Manor in Flemington . Kent enlightened us on the unique offerings of the horticultural world while adding some pizzaz to garden ideas.

This unique flowering maples mimics a ballgown dancing in the air.

A unique form of daffodil, I had to buy one of these rip van winkle daffodils. Check out more classes at the Manor by visiting their very own ‘Inn the Dirt’ page specifically for those of us who love gettin’ down and dirty… with plants that is ;)

Gabe & Christina | 3.8.13Love in perfect harmony

Congratulations to Christina & Gabe! They tied the knot on a snowy Friday in front of their closest family and friends. Gabe and Christina met while attending college at William Patterson University in the Music Education program. Fast forward to December 2011 when Gabe popped the question at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The rest is history. Have a great time on your honeymoon, guys! Enjoy this little teaser, may more to come!
